Junior League of Greater Alton would like to thank everyone for their support and contribution to a very successful Uncorked and Uncapped event this year. Uncorked and Uncapped, the annual wine/beer/spirits tasting fundraiser hosted by JLGA, was held on Saturday, November 5th at Temple Banquet Center in Alton, IL. JLGA President, Lori Artis, had this to say about the evening –
“The venue was great, the wine and beer were flowing and the live music was a bonus. This event flowed so smoothly, and I would have to say it had a lot to do with how detailed the planning that went into the night was. We look forward to hearing the final count in terms of attendance and dollars raised from this year’s first fundraising event.”
JLGA has five fundraising events throughout the League year, Uncorked and Uncapped is the first. Proceeds from all fundraising events go to organizations in the community, focusing on the betterment of women and children. JLGA wants to thank its members for support, as well as everyone in the community who turned out for a fun evening supporting an important cause. If you missed this year, no worries.
