Issue-Based Community Impact (IBCI)
In addition to training members to become civic leaders, Junior League of Greater Alton undertakes an Issue-Based Community Impact project every few years. These projects arise from detailed research on the needs of the Greater Alton region and unfold as multi-year plans to tackle the chosen issue.
We are currently in the research and planning phases for our next major project. Our most recent effort, The Junior League Locker, focused on clothing insecurities in our schools. That project lives on through Mid-Town Moms, so be sure to check that organization out online.
In the meantime, our members will be active in our communities through various volunteer opportunities.
Community Outreach
